As I write this testimony, it's about 10:30 in the evening and I am sitting on the edge of my bed typing on my laptop while relaxing to the sweet melody of Mazzy Star's "Flowers in December." A few minutes ago, I had prepared my workout clothes and shoes on a little table besides my bed so that when my alarm clock rings at exactly 4:00AM, I am out the door for my time with Brandon.
Surprisingly, I do not feel tired like most people at the end of a long crazy workday. Instead, I feel like dancing or running a half marathon. Seriously.
Today, this newly found "energy" comes with a 31 inch waist, toned arms, a surfacing six-pack, and legs of a World Cup soccer champion. I am elated. I am humbled. But I know that I am and always will be a "work in progress."
Believe it or not, this testimony is coming from a former, "pork chops for breakfast" junkie. Six months ago, I recently graduated from college and I was ready for a change. My days prior to meeting Brandon consisted of frequent feelings of tiredness. I also hated the feeling of holding my breath while struggling into a size 36 waist pair of jeans. I was easily irritable by little things because of the pressures of school and I drowned my sorrows with super buffets and fast food.
Like most people who struggle with weight, I have gone through a yo-yo journey of trying to find the solution to my fatness. I've tried weight loss supplements, workout videos, and every diet program under the sun only to find out that each attempt tragically ended in failure. And I realized that every time I reached a certain level of success, I would sabotage it and the cycle would start all over again.
What led me to choose a trainer this time around? I guess it was because I was tired of feeling undeserving. I really had to struggle with the question that continues to haunt me every day, "What is really important to you?"
Once I learned that solid health and feeling good about myself was important to me, Brandon helped me make sense of the classic equation "exercise + healthy diet = a fit body." His dedication and faith in me not only changed my physique, it changed my life. So, I end this testimony not so that I can catch some sleep for my early rise tomorrow. I know that both Brandon and I would rather press the snooze button, but after a session with him, we both know it's worth it.

I have been with Body Works for about six months and every month I have had positive results toward my goal. You might think, "Why are you still with them?" Or "Can't you do this on your own?" For me, Body Works, provides a positive, motivating, and energetic atmosphere, where I feel I can reach my goals of physical fitness. They listen, encourage... okay push me. They make me feel I can do better.

When I came to Body Works in January 2010, I was 5'10", 220 pounds, and totally out of shape. I wasn't happy with the way I looked, and I definitely wasn't happy with the way I felt. Although I couldn't do much at first, Brandon worked with me to increase my strength and endurance. Now, I am over 50 pounds lighter, and so much happier! Body Works has changed not only the way others view me, but it has changed the way I view myself. I recommend Brandon to anyone looking to make a positive life change - in mind, body, and spirit.

I've been training with Brandon for nearly four years now, and he's always remained positive and encouraging - whether I go up or down in weight. It seems I live in chronic pain from Osteoarthritis and Tendinitis and Brandon designs my workouts to my abilities and continues to keep me motivated and wanting to come back. His combination of strength training and cardio works great for me and I've seen improvement in my stamina and endurance. He works with me one-on-one without rushing me and makes me feel like a valued client. Brandon will do whatever it takes to help you succeed with your weight loss and/or fitness plans.

I have been training with Brandon for about 3 years. With his knowledge of physical abilities, nutrition needs, strength and cardio training, I look forward to my workouts. If my goal is to lose weight, he will encourage. He suggests keeping a food diary, but doesn't scold or cajole if it isn't done.that is my choice. His workouts keep me agile, build my strength, and keep me toned. I enjoy working out with Brandon.
