Pre and Post Natal Exercise

The expectant mother will experience a great deal of changes during her pregnancy.  Exercise during can help ease a great deal of those "growing pains."  It has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety.  It can also prevent an excessive weight gain which is healthier for both mother and baby.  Learning the right foods to eat during your pregnancy will help you feel better and make baby happy as well.  Exercise has been proven to help in the transition phases of labor and allow for a more enjoyable experience during the entire pregnancy.  Be sure to consult with your doctor before beginning an exercise program during your pregnancy.

After the joy of giving birth, you may notice that things just aren't in the same places they once were.  The body just doesn't bounce right back after your little one is born.  It will take a little effort to regain your "pre-pregnancy" physique.  A new baby can be exhausting and will definately be a lot of work.  New mothers must take time for themselves and exercise is the perfect way to spend that time.  It will help you relax and feel better about yourself and the new changes in your life.

WHAT CLIENTS ARE SAYING

I have been with Body Works for about six months and every month I have had positive results toward my goal. You might think, "Why are you still with them?" Or "Can't you do this on your own?" For me, Body Works, provides a positive, motivating, and energetic atmosphere, where I feel I can reach my goals of physical fitness. They listen, encourage... okay push me. They make me feel I can do better.
